Cancelling or changing orders policy:
Ashford Hobby's goal is to ship customers orders as quickly as possible, therefore it is imperative that you contact us A.S.A.P. (As soon as possible) to  change or cancel an order. Contact us via Phone or Email.  
Note: If you cancel an order you have paid for with a credit card, the funds may have a hold on them for 1-3 days by your bank or credit card issuer. These holds are completely out of our control and there is nothing we can do to speed up the process.

Pre-order items policy:
Pre-order's are accepted on newly announced products on a first come first shipped basis. We will publish an ETA (estimated time of arrival) date based on information from our suppliers in the description area of that item.  Pre-order's don't require a deposit but  Pre-order's with deposits will be the first shipped.  Contact us via E-mail if you wish to place a deposit on a Pre-order.  As soon as your Pre-order items arrive, you will receive an email letting you know your Pre-order items are in stock and ready for shipping.  On items with out a deposit you will  have 5 business days after your Pre-order notification is sent to complete the purchase it before it will be returned to stock.

Backorder items policy:
The website is real time inventory so if you select an item that is listed as "Product is out of stock"  it can be back ordered or you can choose to have us contact us when it comes back into inventory.   If an item you ordered is on backorder, we will email you to let you know when we expect the item in our store. If the backorder item is expected within two weeks we will hold the rest of the order and ship the entire order when the backorder item is received, but if you would like the rest of the order sent immediately you need to inform us to ship available product.
