Use this piece to replace the stock ballcup on the end of the shaft and then you can use any size/length of standard 4-40 ballcup. This allows you to make the shock quite a bit longer to fit on other mfg's cars. The Encore shock is very smooth and is the choice of many drivers for center shock on road course and oval cars; and side shocks on the oval cars.
